As the Deputy is aware, some of the more urgent matters requiring attention in connection with the amendment of Company Law were dealt with in an Act passed by the Oireachtas in May, 1959. The preparation of a Bill to deal with the numerous matters covered by the report of the Committee on Company Law reform is under way and substantial progress has been achieved. In view, however, of the magnitude and complexity of the task, I am unable to indicate when it will be possible to introduce the Bill.
