asked the Minister or Social Welfare (a) if particulars furnished to the Revenue Commissioners, Estate Duty Branch, are being transmitted to his Department; (b) if particulars of Post Office Savings Bank accounts are being transmitted to his Department either during the life-time or after the death of the depositor, save with the consent of the depositor or his personal representative; and (c) if particulars of means furnished to the Department of Lands are being transmitted to his Department.

As regards part (a) of the question, limited information, which is available to the public in the Probate Registries, is furnished to my Department in relation to the estates of deceased persons.

The answer to the remaining parts of the question is in the negative.
