98.

asked the Minister for Education if he has yet sanctioned the building of a new school for Cloughbrack; and if so, when he expects building will commence.

My Department is in communication with the Reverend Manager's Solicitor regarding the question of the production of evidence of title to the site for the new school at Cloughbrack. When satisfactory evidence of title has been received a grant towards the cost of erecting the school will be sanctioned.

I am unable to say at present when work on the erection of the school is likely to commence but every effort will be made to expedite the case.

asked the Minister for Education if he has yet sanctioned the building of a new school for Cornamona; and, if so, when he expects building will commence.

A grant for the erection of a new school at Cornamona will be sanctioned at an early date. In the meantime the Commissioners of Public Works have been requested to proceed with the preparation of the working drawings and a specification and I understand that this work is now on hands.

I am unable to say when the work of erecting the new school will commence, but every effort will be made to expedite the case.
