Vol. 180 No. 1

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order Nos. 10, 6, 11 (Votes 63, 45, 46 and 55), 12 and 3. If not already reached it is proposed to interrupt business at 7.30 p.m. to take No. 3.

Will the Taoiseach say what are the likely sitting days next week?

Tuesday and Wednesday. On Wednesday I presume the hours will be 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Is the Taoiseach or the Minister for Finance in a position to say at this stage whether the Budget will be introduced before the Easter recess or have they yet taken any decision as to when we shall rise?

It will be taken after Easter.

Is the Minister able to tell us the date?

Without being definite, the 27th April.

Deputy Norton and I and other Deputies who go to Kildare will not like that date.

Has the Taoiseach abandoned his past habits?

They can postpone Punchestown.

I am not definite that it will be the 27th.
