NOTE.—The statement is confined to the years from 1955-56 to 1959-60 inclusive as in those years a number of services, which in prior years were charged to the Public Assistance Account, were charged to the Health Service Account. These included the Dispensary Medical Service, Hospital and Specialist Services for the lower income group and services for shelter and maintenance in County Homes.
