The numbers of road workers employed by Wexford County Council at the 31st March in the years 1960, 1959, 1958 and 1957 were 309, 366, 367 and 309 respectively. These figures do not include men employed on schemes financed with the aid of grants from the Employment and Emergency Schemes Vote.
