Vol. 183 No. 7

Oil Burners (Standards) Bill, 1960—First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to make provision for minimum standards of efficiency and safety in respect of oil-burning appliances: and for purposes connected therewith.—(Minister for Industry and Commerce).

When is it proposed to take the next stage?

Next Tuesday, 12th July, 1960. I hope to have it circulated by tomorrow evening. It is a Bill which prescribes certain standards for oil burners. If taking it on Tuesday next will embarrass the Opposition, we can take it again, but I should like it to be taken on Tuesday next, if possible.

The Taoiseach will appreciate that we should like to see these Bills before——

Certainly. They will all be circulated in good time.
