Vol. 184 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Military Service Pensions: Special Allowances.

87.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that owing to the present cost of living the special allowance based on an appropriate sum is now totally inadequate; and if he will take whatever steps are necessary to increase the allowance or abolish the means test.

The question of a general increase in special allowances payable under the Army Pensions Acts is under consideration.
