As the reply is largely in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report. Effectively 33 properties comprising 3,643 acres are involved.

The Land Commission have at present under investigation, with a view to considering the institution of acquisition proceedings, an aggregate of 821 acres comprised in 5 properties in County Limerick.
Proceedings are at present in progress for compulsory acquisition of the following estates:—

In addition, negotiations are in progress for the voluntary purchase of two properties containing 375 acres and agreement has been reached for the purchase of 3 further estates comprising 263 acres but it would be a breach of confidence to disclose details thereof at this stage.
