asked the Taoiseach the number of men on the unemployment assistance live register in each of the electoral divisions of (a) Asdee, (b) Beale, (c) Gullane and (d) Lislaughtin, County Kerry, for each of the last two weeks of January, 1960.

The allocation to the district electoral division in which they reside, of men with applications for unemployment assistance current is made only for a date in January of each year. For 23 January, 1960, the number of men on the live register, having applications for unemployment assistance current residing in the specified areas was (a) Asdee, 12; (b) Beale,4; (c) Cullane, 14; and (d) Lislaughtin (excluding the town of Ballylongford), 4. In the town of Ballylongford, which is situated in the district electoral divisions of Lislaughtin and Carrig, there were seven applications current and it is not possible to state how many of these resided in the Lislaughtin portion of the town.
