asked the Taoiseach the names and nationality of the lawyers who appeared on behalf of the Irish Government before the Court of Human Rights in the Lawless case.

The lawyers who appeared on behalf of the Irish Government before the Court of Human Rights in the Lawless case were Aindrias Ó Caoimh, S.C., Attorney General, Seán Morrissey, Barrister-at-Law, Legal Adviser to the Department of External Affairs, Anthony Hedderman, Barrister-at-Law, Professor Paul Reuter of the Faculty of Law and Economic Science at the University of Paris, and Donough O'Donovan, Chief State Solicitor. With the exception of Professor Reuter, who is a French citizen, all of the foregoing are Irish citizens.
