The total intake of milk into creameries was 289,582,000 gallons in 1957, 276,297,000 gallons in 1958, and 247,588,000 gallons in 1959. The approximate total to mid-November this year was 269,494,000 gallons.
The percentage of the total taken each year by Creameries operated by the Dairy Disposal Company Ltd. remained at slightly under one quarter.
