Vol. 185 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Partitioning of School Rooms.

53.

asked the Minister for Education if his Department will sanction the partitioning of an existing room in a national school, until such time as a new room can be provided, where the average warrants a further appointment of a teacher which cannot be made through lack of suitable accommodation.

The sanctioning of the arrangement to which the Deputy refers would depend mainly on the size of the room. If the Deputy will furnish particulars of the school he has in mind I will have the matter examined in my Department.
