asked the Taoiseach if he will state separately the value of imports, exports and re-exports by air in each of the years 1956 to 1959.

The compilation of external trade data by ports (including airports) is carried out only in respect of every fifth year. The latest available information relates to the year 1954 when the value of trade by air was:—

The information in respect of 1959 is at present being compiled and should be ready by the end of the present month. Should the Deputy care to repeat his Question after that time the data will be available.
