Under the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1960, pension increases, with effect from 1st August, 1960, have been granted to State pensioners, including ex-Garda members, who retired before 1st November, 1955. Should there be a further revision of the pension awards to State pensioners generally, the claim of Garda pensioners will, of course, be considered.
