Derelict Sites Bill, 1960—From the Seanad.

The Dáil went into Committee to consider amendments from the Seanad.

Minister for Local Government (Mr. Blaney)

I move that the Committee agree with the Seanad in amendment No. 1:—

In page 7, line 40,"a notice containing" inserted before "a copy" and in line 41 "a copy of the" deleted and "such" substituted.

These are purely drafting amendments from the Seanad and I recommend their acceptance to the House.

Mr. Dillon

I am accepting the Minister's statement that these amendments are purely drafting amendments and do not introduce any new element.

Mr. Blaney

Nothing whatever.

I move that the Committee agree with the Seanad in amendment No. 2:

In page 8, lines 35 and 36, "by the Acquisition of Land (Reference Committee) Act, 1925" deleted.
