Vol. 186 No. 2

Committee on Finance. - Charities Bill, 1957—Money Resolution.

I move:

That it is expedient to authories such payments out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas as are necessary to give effect to any Act of the present session to amend the law relating to charities.

Has the Minister any estimate of what charges might fall to be met under this?

Is there any money involved in this Resolution?

It is moved separately on every Estimate.

The only question is what money is likely to be necessary?

The expenses of the Charities Commissioners.

Does this Resolution cover an amount of money that the Minister can state?

It covers the expenses of the Charities Commissioners.

How much? What have they been in the past?

Roughly about £6,000.

Not more than £10,000 in any case.

Question put and agreed to.
Money Resolution reported and agreed to.
