I made an Order on the 4th instant confirming the Provisional Order made on the 16th November last, granting the necessary powers for the acquisition of the land required for this scheme. A loan to defray the cost of the scheme was sanctioned on the 16th January. The County Council may, therefore, now invite tenders for the carrying out of the work.
