asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received a complaint concerning a communication addressed by his Department and sent by registered post to the Chairman, Mountmellick Town Commissioners, c/o Town Hall, Mountmellick, on 23rd December, 1960, which was not received by him to date; and if in view of the fact that this communication was issued under registered post what explanation he has to offer for its failure to reach the person to whom it was addressed.

The Secretary of my Department received letters on this matter from the Deputy and took up the question of the missing letter with the Department of Posts and Telegraphs. While this correspondence has been in progress the Deputy has put down a Question to the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs who will deal with the matter now.
