Vol. 187 No. 1

Business of Dáil.

I wonder would the House vary the Order of Business to take Supplementary Estimates before the Mental Treatment Bill?

Let us have a look at it. We have to take the Central Bank Bill first, anyway. The Minister wants to order No. 13 before No. 12—is that it?

Excluding the Vote for the Department of Agriculture.

Does the Minister for Finance want to get the Supplementary Estimates and the Central Bank Bill? Is that the idea?

If possible, but it does not really matter.

There is a way to avoid it. Is this change asked for by the Minister for Health or the Minister for Finance?

The Minister for Health. He has to deal with a Committee Stage next.

What break does the Minister anticipate? We have made arrangements on the assumption that the Order of Business would go through as planned.

It does not matter.

The Minister knows it may take a couple of hours—one hour, anyway—to deal with the Mental Treatment Bill.

It will take one hour, anyway. We will go on.

The Central Bank Bill will take only a moment.

Would it suit the House to take the Mental Treatment Bill at 8 o'clock or 9 o'clock?

If the Minister for Finance would give me time to telephone a colleague, I shall be able to answer the question. We have business arranged on the basis that the Mental Treatment Bill would be dealt with first, but if the Minister wants to change it, we will agree.
