asked the Minister for Social Welfare if the records in his Department reveal the number of disability claims paid in a recent year to (a) single insured persons, (b) insured persons with dependants and (c) the total number of insured persons who received benefit, expressing (a) and (b) as a percentage of (c); and, if details are readily available, if he will indicate the average duration of incapacity and a broad outline of pattern of incapacity having regard to duration.

The information required by the Deputy is as follows:—

(a) Number of claims from insured persons with no dependants
