Vol. 189 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Skibbereen Bridge.

32.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has received proposals from Cork County Council relative to the proposed erection of a bridge at Skibbereen; and, if so, what action he has taken in the matter.

Plans for the replacement of the Ilen river bridge at Skibbereen have been the subject of correspondence between Cork County Council, the Council's Consulting Engineers and my Department and contract documents for the scheme are now being examined in the Department. It is anticipated that an early decision will be given in the matter.
