Vol. 189 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Salaries of Ambulance Drivers in Kerry.

3.

asked the Minister for Health if his Department received a recommendation from the Kerry County Council to increase the salaries of its ambulance drivers; and, if so, if he will state the cause of delay in giving the necessary sanction.

I have received a proposal from the Kerry County Council to increase the salaries of the ambulance drivers.

It was necessary to ask the Council for further information to enable the proposal to be considered fully. This information was received very recently, and the examination of the matter has not yet been concluded.
