Vol. 189 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Minor Employment, Bog Development and Rural Improvement Schemes.

14.

asked the Minister for Finance the total number and cost of (a) minor employment, (b) bog development and (c) rural improvement schemes carried out in County Kerry during the financial year ended 31st March, 1961, with a breakdown under each of the headings, (a), (b) and (c) as between each rural district in the county.

Particulars of the schemes carried out in any county are not readily available in the form asked for by the Deputy. Particulars of the schemes sanctioned in the financial year are, however, available and there is really no practical difference between the two sets of figures. I propose, therefore, to give the Deputy particulars of the schemes sanctioned in Co. Kerry in 1960/61, and as the reply is in the form of a tabular statement I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to have it included in the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—
