I propose with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing for each year 1925—1960 the estimate of population originally compiled and the final revised estimate for each year 1925—1956.
Final estimates are based on the results of subsequent Censuses of Population and are, therefore, not available for years after 1956. It should be observed that, for some years, a number of interim revisions were also published before the final estimates were made. The official estimate of the population for 1961 is not yet available.
