asked the Minister for Local Government if any steps have been taken by the Dublin Corporation to remove the danger at the quarry at Stannaway Park in order to protect children playing in the vicinity of that quarry.

I understand that Dublin Corporation have erected a high railing on three sides of the plot of ground on which the quarry in question is situated and that negotiations are in progress with a neighbouring landowner with a view to further protective measures being taken.
