Vol. 191 No. 8

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Houses of Architectural or Historical Interest: Tax Reliefs.

14.

asked the Minister for Finance if with a view to encouraging owners of houses of architectural or historical interest to open these houses to the public as an educational and tourist attraction, he will consider allowing the owners of such houses tax reliefs on the lines of those granted to such owners in Britain.

I am not aware that any special tax relief is allowed in Britain to property owners of the class mentioned in the Deputy's question.
