As I indicated in my reply to the Deputy's question of 28th June, 1961, arrangements are being made whereby the Central Statistics Office hopes to be in a position to compile, as from 1st July, 1961, certain statistics relevant to the trade being carried on in the Shannon Free Airport Industrial Estate. These statistics include those of the type requested by the Deputy. No figures are as yet available and the Deputy will appreciate that any such compilations must be carried out on a monthly or quarterly basis. I understand that particulars for the period prior to 1st July, 1961 will not be available.
