Vol. 191 No. 9

Committee on Finance - Vote 12—Civil Service Commission (Supplementary).

I move:

That a supplementary sum not exceeding £10 be granted to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1962, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Civil Service Commission (No. 45 of 1956 and No. 38 of 1959) and of the Local Appointments Commission (No. 39 of 1926, No. 15 of 1940 and No. 9 of 1946).

I should explain that in this case there is no main Estimate. By a typing error, the whole Estimate went in with the Vote on Account. I am putting this Supplementary Estimate for £10 in case anyone wants to raise anything.

Does the Minister mean to say that I let that slip through on the Vote on Account? Even Homer nods!

That is right.

Vote put and agreed to.
