I understand that the Whips have met and reached agreement that the hours of sitting next week will be the same as they were in this week. I, therefore, wish to move the following motion:
That the Dáil shall meet at 2 p.m. on Tuesday next and at 12 noon on Wednesday and Thursday next; that on those days the Dáil shall adjourn not later than 11.30 p.m. and that the interruption of business provided for in subsection (2) of Standing Order 20 shall take place at 11 p.m.
That notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Standing Orders, Questions to Ministers on Wednesday and Thursday next be taken at 3 p.m. at which time the business under consideration shall be interrupted.
