Vol. 191 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Community Centres.

23.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will indicate what progress has been made by the Dublin Corporation with regard to the provision of community centres, with particular reference to Ballyfermot West and Crumlin South.

In my reply to a previous question by the Deputy on this subject on 24th May last, I explained the general policy of Dublin Corporation in regard to the provision of community centres.

In pursuance of this policy, the Corporation recently leased a site at the junction of Lismore Road and Clonmacnoise Road for an assembly hall. In Ballyfermot, the parish school hall is used for local functions.
