Vol. 192 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Survey of Brickley River (Dungarvan).

73.

asked the Minister for Finance what progress has been made on the survey of the Brickley River, Dungarvan, County Waterford; and when a scheme to alleviate flooding in this area will be prepared.

A survey of the Brickley River has been completed and the design of a scheme with a view to works under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, is in hands. If an acceptable scheme can be prepared the Commissioners of Public Works expect to be able next year to invite tenders for the carrying out of the works.
