Short Titles Bill, 1961—First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to assign short titles to certain pre-Union Irish statutes and English statutes applied to Ireland, in order to facilitate their citation. — (Minister for Justice.)

This day fortnight.

Have we any reason to believe we will be sitting this day fortnight?

That is the earliest date at which it can be taken.

I understood from the Government it was doubtful whether they would have business.

It may turn out that a one-day sitting next week will be sufficient.

Second Stage ordered for Wednesday, 29th November, 1961.
