Under the Broadcasting Authority Act, 1960, it is the function of the Broadcasting Authority to provide a national television service and it will be for the Authority to determine the order in which the various transmitters will be brought into operation. I understand that the Authority hopes to extend the television service to all provincial areas during the second half of 1962.
