I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that the question of extending supply to the premises of householders residing in the Meentogues, Knockdura, and adjoining townlands was investigated some time ago and terms quoted to householders who were anxious to obtain supply. The Board state that arrangements were made for the necessary extensions to be erected, but that the diversion of all available construction crews to repairing damage caused by the Autumn storms has delayed commencement of the work. The Board add that the work will be undertaken at the earliest possible date.
