Vol. 192 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - St. Kevin's Hospital (Dublin): Accommodation for Nurses.

9.

asked the Minister for Health if he will consider the purchase of some of the vacant lots in Mount Brown, Dublin, with a view to erecting accommodation for the nurses employed in St. Kevin's Hospital.

The provision of a nurses' home at St. Kevin's Hospital is primarily a matter for the Dublin Health Authority. No proposal for the acquisition of additional property on which a nurses' home might be erected has been submitted to my Department. I understand that if, in fact, it should be decided to erect a home, a suitable site therefor is available within the hospital grounds.
