I dealt with this matter fully in my reply in this House on 11th October last to the debate on the Motion relating to the nomination of the members of the Government. I refer the Deputy to column 125 of the Dáil Debates for that day. The stage at which, as I then indicated, it would be appropriate to decide on the need for such a Department has not yet been reached.
