Vol. 193 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Donegal Slobland Lrainage.

68.

asked the Minister for Finance what decision has been taken by the Office of Public Works following their survey of the sloblands, Blanketnook, County Donegal, known as the Egerton Estate, in 1957; and if a drainage scheme is envisaged for this area.

The improvement of this embankment system was being considered jointly with the nearby Inch Level embankments with a view to a combined scheme. Consideration of the proposal has been deferred by reason of developments in the ownership and user of the lands concerned.
