Messages from Seanad.

Seanad Éireann has passed the Garda Síochána Bill, 1961, without amendment.

Seanad Éireann has made the following order:—

That a Select Committee consisting of seven members be appointed to be joined with the Select Committee appointed by Dáil Éireann on 22nd November, 1961, to direct and control the Oireachtas Restaurant;

That the quorum of the Committee be two;

That the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection.

Seanad Éireann has made the following Order:—

That, in pursuance of Standing Order No. 101 of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, a Select Committee be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee of Dáil Éireann to constitute the Standing Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills and that it be referred to the Committee of Selection to nominate the members of the Select Committee.

Seanad Éireann has made the following Order:—

That, in pursuance of Standing Order No. 56 of the Standing Orders relative to Private Business, a Select Committee be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee of Dáil Éireann to constitute the Joint Committee on Standing Orders and that it be referred to the Committee of Selection to nominate the members of the Select Committee.
