There are at present nine areas with a total acreage of 267 acres on offer to my Department for State Forestry purposes in the Slievenamon and Mullinahone districts. Agreement to purchase two areas totalling 31 acres has been reached and title is in course of clearance. The remaining seven cases are at the preliminary stages of investigation.
