asked the Minister for Finance whether in view of the fact that when a taxpayer is overcharged in error by the taxation authorities he may be involved in considerable legal costs in investigating and proving the error made by the taxation authorities he will consider introducing legislation to provide that in cases of culpable error by the taxation authorities these authorities should be compelled to pay the legal costs incurred by the taxpayer in the process of investigating and correcting the error.
