Under the Broadcasting Authority Act, 1960, it is the function of the Authority to provide a national television service. Accordingly, enquiries of this kind should be addressed to Radio Éireann.
I understand, however, that the television service for County Mayo will be provided by the transmitters at Sligo and Gort which are at present in course of construction.
