Mr. Jones

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of each local authority (1) the revenue expenditure, excluding that of vocational education committees, committees of agriculture and harbour authorities, (2) (a) the State contribution by way of grants in 1960/61 and (b) the estimated contribution for 1961/62, and (3) (a) the net amount falling on the rates in 1960/ 61 and (b) the estimated amount for 1961/62.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report. The figures requested are not available for the year 1961/ 62.
