The average increase granted since 31st March, 1960, on the wages payable to county council road workers is 7.5 per cent.
As variations in the wages of labourers employed by county borough and borough corporations and urban district councils are not subject to the specific sanction of the Minister, details of the increases granted to them are not available in the Department.
