Vol. 193 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of County Dublin Estates.

43.

asked the Minister for Lands what estates have been acquired by the Land Commission in County Dublin during the period 1st January 1960 to date; and what other estates are in course of being acquired or will be acquired in the future.

No estates have been acquired by the Land Commission in Co. Dublin during the period mentioned.

Proceedings are at present in progress for acquisition of two properties in Co. Dublin, viz, 212 acres at Clonard or Flemingstown and 23 acres at Folkstown Great. Both of these properties are in the Balbriggan district.

In addition, enquiries are being made regarding a number of holdings in the county with a view to considering the institution of acquisition proceedings. For the present, however, these must be treated as confidential.
