Committee on Finance. - Road Fund (Grants) (Temporary Provisions) Bill, 1962—Money Resolution.

I move:

That for the purpose of any Act of the present session to make temporary provisions for grants to the Road Fund it is expedient to authorise:—

(1) the making to the Road Fund out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas of grants not exceeding in the aggregate seven hundred thousand pounds during the period of three years beginning on the 1st day of April, 1961, and

(2) the treatment as a non-repayable grant of any amount which immediately before the 1st day of April, 1962, stood not repaid in respect of any sum advanced under section 1 of the Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926, or section 3 of the Road Fund (Grants and Advances) (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1959, together with the interest then accrued due on such amount.
