Vol. 194 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Vegetable Markets.

48.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware of the serious congestion at present prevailing at the Dublin vegetable markets; and, if so, whether he has any proposals for dealing with it.

No representations or complaints have been made to my Department in regard to congestion in the Dublin vegetable markets. The matter is one in the first instance for Dublin Corporation which has not submitted any proposals to me. I understand, however, that it has the position under review.
