My Department has sanctioned a grant towards the cost of the proposed new Swinford convent national school. It is understood from the Commissioners of Public Works that they will not be in a position to commence the preparation of the detailed drawings and specification for the new school for several months. I am, therefore, not in a position to say when tenders for its erection will be invited.
