Vol. 195 No. 5

Business of Dáil.

Before we resume the Order, perhaps the Minister would state when he proposes to give a Second Reading to the Intoxicating Liquor Bill?

That is not a matter for me; it is a matter for the Taoiseach.

I understand that the Minister is responsible for its introduction. Is it to be shelved or will we have it at all?

We will have it.

Before the tourist season?

That was the intention.

What now is the intention?

It is a question of the availability of time in the House. Does the Deputy intend to oppose it?

We shall see when the matter comes up, but I shall not be as slow in opposing it as the Minister was in introducing it.

It is already introduced.

I am talking about the Second Reading.
