Vol. 195 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - North Kerry Turbary Allocations.

42.

asked the Minister for Lands whether in view of the urgent need for the allocation of turbary in the North Kerry area the Land Commission propose to make further allocations there in the near future.

A substantial area of turbary has been developed and allotted by the Land Commission in North Kerry in recent years. Development of other bogs in the area is continuing and it is hoped that further turbary allotments will be feasible in the near future.
